Verbal Complements

Legal and social changes worldwide have led to a rise in divorces. The ease of legal separation allows people to pursue different lives, even if they initially intended to stay together. Reasons for divorce often include feeling a lack of personal growth or inadequacy caused by the partner. Disputes and a lack of compromise strain relationships. Incompatibility and other hidden factors also contribute. Unfortunately, children often bear the brunt of these separations, having to adapt to new family dynamics. They may feel resentment as adults struggle to resolve their issues. While children may hope for reconciliation, adults advise them to respect the mutual decision. Although divorce is legally easier, emotionally it remains challenging. The prevalence of divorce serves as a reminder that marriage should not be taken lightly, and finding a perfect match is more a fairytale concept than a reality.

QUESTIONS:

1. What has led to an increase in divorces worldwide?

2. Why might children feel resentment during a divorce?
