LET'S SHADOW NAS IN FULL!
Last year, / I went to McDonald's, and I was shocked / because McDonald's doesn't sell plastic straws anymore. // And they still sell meat / that is responsible for fifteen percent of greenhouse gas emissions. // So why ban plastic straws only?! // This is called Selective Empathy. // And it's not just in McDonald's, / it's in all of us. // We care about some animals like dogs or cats. // But we do not care about a cow or a pig, / which we kill thousands everyday. // We care about the death of a celebrity,/ but we don't care about the death of thousands of people in Syria or Africa. / We are all guilty of Selective Empathy. // So the real question is, / do we really care about plastic straws / or do we only care about some plastic, / some animals / and some humans? // That's one minute. // See you tomorrow. //
