One of the core concepts that we believe in Square and that has really resonated with me throughout my life is this great quote by Steve McQueen. He didn't say a lot of great things, he said one great thing, and this is pretty much it. But this to me is entrepreneurship this is what it means: “When I believe in something, I fight like hell for it."

Entrepreneurship is taking a significant risk in order to see something meaningful in the world. It O doesn't necessarily mean that you start a company. And, uh, one of the things that we believe at Square, and one of these realizations of who we're building this for, is we want to build a company of entrepreneurs.

Every single person that joins Square is an entrepreneur, because they want to take big risks and they want to see something meaningful in the world. And we're actually entrepreneurs who are building tools for other entrepreneurs to do the same thing, to build new products in the world, and to build exactly what they want to see in the world. When you do this, when you create a company of entrepreneurs, any idea in the company can have a re-founding moment of the company-it can have a moment where it completely shifts the course of the company.
